Today, home health, social service agencies and professionals use EaseŽ software, our proprietary software tool, to complete client/home assessments that help people stay independent. The EaseŽ approach is logical, easy to use and comprehensive. That's why over 40 colleges and universities nationwide teach it in their occupational therapy programs.

Home Modification Specialists:
Lifease has expanded its software offerings to include BUILDEASE™ which will be launched in February of 2006. It promises to be of exceptional value to both someone that has been assisting older people or people with disabilities create homes that meet their needs or the person that is just beginning in the Home Modification field.

BUILDEASE™ works on the same basis as other EaseŽ software but instead of producing reports it prepares worksheets that allow the user to refine their proposal and tap into the latest building products and suggestions.

How EaseŽ Works:
The requirements for living independently balance on two key variables - physical function and environmental barriers. Fix either one, and the barrier to independence is mitigated.

The professionals at Lifease took this concept one step further, creating a logical approach that combines sensible assessment with the speed and accuracy of the computer. That combination is EaseŽ. It works from an assessment tool that drives a database of solutions and product information.

The assessment reviews personal needs and abilities, and uses that data to identify potential home environment problems. From there it lists the best possible solutions and items, listing them in a customized report, based on an individual's home setting and functional capability.

EaseŽ 3.2 comes in two versions: Basic and Deluxe

The Basic version:

• identifies a person's functional ability
• creates a customized home checklist
• accesses a database of more then 4,000 ideas and product solutions
• offers instant reporting and information where products can be obtained
• searches the database by product, product description or supplier

Price: $399 plus $15 shipping and handling

The Deluxe version allows added options:

• an in-depth assessment
• the opportunity to personalize the software by adding ideas and product solutions, including the distributor
• the ability to access a profile that includes pre-selected challenges for clients with certain conditions or diagnoses
